Because a boat without mast rolls really uncomfy, I had to step the mast as soon as possible. I built the mast head out of GRP:

Many junk rigged boats have a keel stepped mast which is fixated with wedges. So there needs to be something to keep water out and the wedges in place:
I would like to mention(again?) that most of the things I build aren’t invented by me. The majority was designed by David or by all the other nice people of the JRA.
There are still many small projects I’m working on inside and outside. Electric for example is a never ending one … I’m a professional, I know what I’m doing (:
